Operational Information
Star Radio broadcasts on 107.9 from our transmitter just outside of Cambridge city centre and on 107.1 from Ely city centre.
Local Production/ Automation
All of the programming is produced and presented locally from our studios in Cambridge. Star Radio automates some aspects of programming using computer technology. There is normally no automation during weekday daytime.

We provide locally generated bulletins in peak time each weekday from 7am - 9am and 4pm - 6pm Weekends feature national news bulletins on the hour with additional local news and information following between 8am and 12 noon. At other times we take national and international news supplied by Sky News.
