O4Rb Meet the Employers Event
The O4RB Business Network is launching two exciting new initiatives in response to the current economic climate at the October Event on the 30th, sponsored and supported by Business Link.

At O4RB, we are focused on building business within Cambridgeshire and providing guidance, support and, of course, opportunities to our Members. Our new initiatives are focused on providing guidance, advice and powerful tools to those looking for a fresh start as a result of redundancy or simply a desire for a change in direction; and to provide a one stop shop for those wishing to start out in business for the first time.

O4RB Fresh Start

The O4RB 'Fresh Start' initiative will provide an integrated system of guidance, advice and help with funding for re-training and tools designed to assist you during the transition and a single portal for access to the many redundancy support initiatives.

So whether you are looking for a Fresh Start following redundancy or just looking to change career, O4RB has everything you need so come along to our Meet the employer session on the 30th October and get a head start for your Fresh Start.

Business Start Up

Experience tells us that starting a business is hard enough without having to go to a hunrdred places to get the services and support that you need. At O4RB, we have decided to put a bold plan into action and provide a seamless One-Stop-Shop for business start ups.

From the moment that you have that mind-blowing idea to moving into your premises and getting your first crucial customers, O4RB will be there. We have designed a powerful online system fused with physical assistance in getting you started provided by our Members to lead you through the process from start to finish. Even if you are half way there and struggling to get everything in place, we can help.

With free business consultations, low cost business registrations, automated links with critical business service providers, low cost office space, communications, free websites and much, much more, O4RB is all you will ever need to get your business off the ground.

Supporting the Community

As well as this O4RB will be announcing its support of the Young Enterprise Scheme and announcing the Huntingdon, Cambridge and Peterborough Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre as it’s chosen charity. Jonathan Djanogly MP will be attending to accept the donation as patron of the charity alongside the Mayor of Huntingdon.

Come along to the event for free to find out more about the new developments within O4RB. The event is open to anyone with an interest in business opportunities in Cambridgeshire.

CHURCH OF NOISE HALLOWEEN SPECIAL
Cambridge’s rock and metal night The Church of Noise looks set to celebrate Halloween in style with a one-off Halloween fancy dress special on Saturday 31 October.

It’s fair to say that the worlds of rock music and horror are almost inextricably linked. From the 70s shock rock of Alice Cooper to modern day maniac metal acts such as Slipknot and Marilyn Manson, the musical genre has always occupied itself with all manner of musical and visual imagery that would easily sit comfortably alongside your average Friday The Thirteenth or Nightmare on Elm Street film. What a perfect combination then for a fancy dress Halloween rock night from regular Cambridge club, The Church of Noise, that promises to be the ultimate rock horror themed night out!

The Church of Noise has, since 2003, been catering for fans of classic rock and metal in the city with a night of music aimed squarely at those who like their music turned up to 11. Previous nights have seen everything from guest appearances from rock bands (including Therapy?, Trivium, Funeral For A Friend, Thunder and more) to live music nights and even their legendary heavy metal karaoke night. The Halloween night though promises to be most memorable of all with a door policy that will see customers in Halloween fancy dress charged half price entry and a musical policy that will range from the very best in classic rock and metal via of course the ultimate horror themed rock tracks of the last three decades.

As well as live DJs, the night will also feature live Halloween music from Zombie rock band Jack the Riffer, with rumours abound that the act in question are actually a well known local rock band playing under a pseudonym, complete with added guts and gore.

Taking place at the club night’s new home of the Cherry Cons Club, Cambridge, a large venue with discounted drink prices and large outdoor smoking area, the club will run well past the witching hour with a license to rock til 2am.

Halloween just got one louder!
