With the winter setting in, the season of good will taking full hold, and the wet muddy roads
making your car look filthy, it’s great to know that you can kill several birds with one stone! Do
your bit for charity, have your car washed and keep warm at the same time.
On Sunday 6th December there will be a charity car wash in aid of Kidney Cancer UK
(www.kcuk.org) between 10am and 3pm. The wash will be held in the car park of Safebox Self
Storage on Coldhams Lane Cambridge (near the corner with Rosemary Lane).
The hoses and sponges will be manned by the teams from Safebox Self Storage, sister company
Safebox Document Storage and the Group’s Head Office. They will be charging £5.00 for each
car washed (though, of course, you can donate more if you like), and matching all donations
made to give a festive boost to the work of Kidney Cancer UK.
While you’re waiting you can enjoy a cup of tea and a mince pie, read a magazine and find out
more about the work of the charity in the centre’s reception.

The girls and leaders of the 1st Whittlesford Rainbows have been very busy over the last few months organising a bring and buy sale in aid of the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) charity. We would like to let all your listeners know that the bring and buy sale will take place from 1pm at the Whittlesford United Reformed Church on Saturday 31st October (CSV Make a Difference day). There will be a white elephant, tombola, raffle, refreshments and some lovely Christmas decorations handmade by our Rainbows. Thanks!
